The Republic of Seraph has existed hundreds of years and is the dominant power within the southern province. A conglomerate of every major of minor race, they act as a unified political power to defend every race from the scrutiny and prejudice of Communa. At the head of Seraph is the Seraphian High Council, a small group of representatives from the major races. The Council is comprised of democratically elected officials from the races of Humans, Dwarves, Dragonborn, Orcs, Halflings, and Elves whom also represent Eladrin.
Seraph remained in a continued state of peace for many years until Communa issued its annexation of Belfast, which in turn triggered the beginning of The Great War. The diversity of the races of Seraph proved to be their greatest advantage, as Seraph was able to utilize the potential of its many major and minor races to hold back Communa from completely destroying them. Even when Seraph was pushed back to the gates of its capital city, it refused to falter, biding its time while Communan bureaucrats destroyed themselves from the inside. After three long years of fighting, the signing of the Silver-Blood Concordant ended the fighting with Seraph clearly coming out superior. Although it has been 10 years since any serious combat, Seraph continues to be prepared in the likely chance Communa regains its former glory and beings yet another war.
